Thortful Design that’s aesthetically impressive, has scale, and pro-enviromentalism? Sign us up immediately. This very moment. Irungu Ngumba’s posters for Lucozade (of which there were originally four, but we picked our personal favourites), were created to promote the Lewa Marathon , which is usually held around 140 miles north of Nairobi, Kenya, and was named by Runner’s World Magazine as ‘One of the top ten races to run in your life’. We don’t doubt it.

Even though any marathon is a huge undertaking, the Lewa Marathon itself was specifically launched to fundraise for community development and wildlife conservancy. Now look at Irungu’s posters and tell us they don’t convey the above message perfectly. You can’t, can you? Chiefly because Irungu is an incredibly talented art director and creative consultant who, as well as working with heavyweights like Lucozade, was an in-house art director for Ogilvy & Mather Kenya and Leo Burnett Kenya before becoming a Creative Consultant at Pxell Concepts. You can check out Irungu’s Behance page here or connect with the Pxell Creative Group here at their website.
