It’s time for some Monday Motivation! September’s cooling down now, and as we reluctantly break out the knitwear and the hot drinks, we thought we’d turn to something timeless and reliable for our start-of-the-week inspiration.
Tadas Ciudaras’ typography and handlettering is our idea of easy, comfortable design. We’ve mentioned before how much we love to watch short videos of handlettering, and here’s why: the receptors in our brain appreciate a pen, or a paintbrush, or any other tool, gliding across the page in the same way that we watch koi ponds to calm ourselves. Watching the infinity-symbol movement being drawn on a page can lower anxiety levels, as well as aid against heart conditions, regulate blood pressure, and encourages faster recovery in stroke patients. So when we say handlettering is good for our health, you can forgive us for our obsession! We digress – check out Tadas’ instagram or dribbble for these wonderful gifs, or their Behance page to connect!
