Neither Tuesday, nor rain are bringing us down, especially when we admire the creativity of artists from all backgrounds. Today we’re featuring the work of Ryan Close, also known as Casbah*, and his Cityscapes project, reminding us how impressive (and inspiring) big cities may be.
‘Cityscapes’ is a personal project of Ryan, more like an experimentation with some plugins, while adding a creative atmosphere. The attention to detail blended with minimalism and an interesting use of colours make you take a closer look on each image, in order to notice every single aspect of it.
Ryan Close has over 12 years’ experience in the design industry (from graphic and experience design to web, UI/UX and even print design), and you can check his extensive professional work on his website.
He considers his career highlights his involvement in the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games Opening Ceremony, working in Shanghai for the 2010 World Expo, creating motion graphics for the movie “Prometheus” (Territory Studio, London), and a revoltuionary motion-graphics installation for Nike in Sydney (Iloura Melbourne).
Also, feel free to check his Behance profile for more creative designs.
