What to write in a Christmas card

The festive season is nearly upon us, which means that it’s time to #GetThortful! Christmas is all about spreading warm wishes to our friends, family, colleagues, pets…. (you get the picture) and there’s no better way to say how much they mean to you than through a greeting card!

The Christmas shopping is done, your playlist is on and now you’re ready to write your heartfelt holiday message for all those cards.

And then….writer’s block! It might seem easy to send season’s greetings, but it’s not always the reality as you sit down, pen in hand, card on table. Not everyone can find the right words for such occasions and even if you do, a little help is always appreciated.

That’s why we decided to help you out and write down our own holiday wishes. We asked everyone at Thortful HQ to pen their own Christmas wishes, in the exact way they would send them. Apparently, it’s not an easy task, but we managed to get into the festive spirit, and now we’re already looking for the next greeting card to send!

Here’s what we came up with to help you on your way, and give you some inspiration:

Most important, you don’t have to be a writer or have a lengthy vocabulary to send a heartfelt message at this time of year. It’s the thought that counts and that’s what Christmas is all about!

Have yourself a very Merry Christmas!
