Who inspires you?
I could quite easily say many of the world’s famous photographers but I am more inspired by my Wife, Children and Family, because they are around me on a daily basis and have to put up with my endless photography process, they are my true inspiration.
Do you remember your first photo?
Yes I do, I was fourteen years old and it was a photograph of a fishing village n Portugal’s Algarve region of Albufeira taken with a compact camera during a family holiday. On returning people commented and asked where was the postcard from, I replied it’s actually one of my holiday photographs.
What does photography mean to you?
Photography means the world to me and has been a lifelong passion, it has always been my first love. I seem to have an inner built desire to take photographs everyday through all kinds of weather and potential hazards and dangers.
How do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in the natural world that is all around us everyday, the Earth’s Landscape from it’s wide views to it’s intimate detail from the trees to the sea and the ever changing clouds to natural textures and patterns that make up our wonderful planet. Also us as humans and our contribution in building beautiful architectural structures like art reaching into the sky.
Do you have a personally favourite photo up to now?
Yes I do but it is not an easy choice to pick your own personal favourite photograph that you have produced.
What is your favourite type of photography?
I appreciate all genres really that capture the essence and mood of the subject. Personally I specialize in Landscape and Architectural photography which are my favourites and that I concentrate on the most as they evoke my senses.
Is there a place anywhere in the world that you would travel to right now to take photos?
That place would have to be the paradise Island of Palawan in the Philippines because of it’s majestic natural scenic beauty and it’s my second home.
What’s your favourite way to promote your work?
My own website and social media especially twitter.
How do you see yourself in two years?
In two years time I aim to be more regularly exposed in the published media and receive more recognition for my fine art.

Strangest moment I’ve experienced: Envisaging an image in my mind’s eye of a photograph that I later took, which was then published in a book entitled (en)Visionography Fine Art.
